Why isn’t it “Double Tiger” or “Double Fish” Ring?

I am sure you know that the third generation Heaven and Earth ring—Double Dragon jadeite ring—has two gold dragons facing the dragon pearl, warding off your malefactors and prospering your wealth and benefactor luck!

But why double dragon, and not dragon phoenix or double fish…

Well, it’s because the dragon is a majestic creature, mysterious and sacred. It’s also a symbol of good fortune as it has power over weather, and the ability to unleash disasters or prevent misfortunes.

But more importantly, the dragon is a totem worshipped by the Chinese. This totem traces its history to over eight thousand years ago when Yellow Emperor (黄帝) defeated Yan Di (炎帝) and Chi You (蚕尤). Following his victory, Yellow Emperor “assembled the jade tablets of the feudal princes on mount Fu”, unified military’s commander’s seal, forged political alliance, and combined all positive elements of various tribes’ animals and created—The Dragon.

This dragon is the combination of nine animals: an eye each from tiger and leopard, deer’s antlers, ox’s nose, camel’s head, silkworm’s abdomen, tiger’s palm, eagle’s claws, fish’s scales and snake’s body.

The dragon’s full and wider forehead symbolises intelligence and wisdom.
Its long antlers symbolise the perpetuity of the country.
The tiger’s and leopard’s eyes symbolise dignity and solemnity.
The flame on its legs symbolises its ability to ward off evil.
Its fangs symbolise its sanctity.
The eagle’s claws symbolise bravery and tenacity.
The ox’s nose symbolises wealth.
The fish’s tail symbolises flexibility.
While the snake body completes the magnificent, vigorous and powerful dragon.

If a dragon combines so many animals and their quintessence, imagine having two of them, and with them right in your hands…

This is THE POWER of Double Dragon jadeite ring.
