THANK YOU! – 12 February 2017, A Celebration of Good to GREAT, Great to GREATER!!

And the rain stopped at 1:38pm. Right at the moment we were about to begin. And the sun emerged. As if the heavens cleansed the paths ahead of us, for a good-to-GREAT 2017!

And it was nothing less than a good-to-great Lotus on Water Lunar New Year Mass Reblessing Celebration. 12 February 2017, we witnessed a never-before crowd joining the Lotus family to celebrate the Fire Rooster year丁酉年.

We had wonderful and good celebrations in the past. This year, we got better. Other than the even more exciting lion and dragon dance performances – did you catch the giant victorious flag of windmills? – there were voices of youth and energy from the children who performed New Year and Lotus songs. It was a feast of prosperity with elegance, that I can tell you.
 

And even Master Yun’s mass reblessing ceremony was simply good to great. This year, Master Yun added special ingredient – peacock feathers – to the reblessing vermilion concoction. Just like the sun emerging right at the very beginning of the celebration, the addition of this special ingredient energizes our existing Lotus collections to be beacons of light, shinning the way forward despite challenges and obstacles. As like how Lotus on Water has been, with the ever-bright chandeliers and endurance in upholding the highest order of standards, a lighthouse for many, many of us.

 

Do you also know that peacock feathers are symbols of status and fame in Qing Dynasty 清朝? Court officials, regardless of their ranks, are bestowed with the peacock feathers for special contributions and achievements, making them the prestigious symbol of good to great. And I dare presume, that this is Master Yun’s well wishes and blessings for us, blessed clients of the Lotus.

But WHY – why are we talking so much about “good to GREAT” this season?

 

Way before 12 February 2017, while we were busily preparing for the celebration and pumping up new Lotus collections for 2017, Master Yun noticed something special in the Lotus VIP Exquisite Jadeite Gallery. We all know that the peach blossom trees in the Lotus galleries are the tallest and have the largest crown. But of all, this year, it was the peach blossom tree in the Lotus Exquisite Jadeite Gallery that bloomed the earliest and exceptionally vibrant. It was the Lotus Exquisite Gallery that first brought in the Qi of spring, to the entire Lotus on Water Street.

In his meditation and prayers, Master Yun was reminded of the purpose and history of the Lotus Exquisite Jadeite Gallery. This magnificent gallery houses the best jadeite of our times, host to the majestic sandalwood “Dharma Service on the Holy Mountain”, and showcases the 850kg raw jadeite boulder. The treasures that can be found in this proud and bright gallery are simply endless. And this VIP gallery was established in 2008, 2 years after the founding main gallery. By then, many Lotus clients had already prospered with their Lotus auspicious jadeite – good – and were looking to move on to the next level, hence, the rise of the Lotus VIP Exquisite Jadeite Gallery – great.

To establish a gallery that offers only the highest order of jadeite in Singapore (and now, probably internationally as well) was no common step – who would actually appreciate and acquire such highly valuable earthly treasures? And to actually have it next to an existing gallery, was really not a normal or “recommended” business strategy. But Master Yun believed that there would be people who would resonate with his ideals and faith, and of all, he believed in the voice of the heavens. It is the mandate of Lotus on Water to move from good to GREAT, from good Lotus auspicious jadeite to great Lotus exquisite jadeite.

Over the years, many Lotus clients have made it from nearly nothing to something with their Lotus auspicious jadeite – be it the Lotus jadeite Laughing Buddha pendant, the Lotus Thousand Hands Guan Yin pendant, the Lotus jadeite ammonite…and many of them have progressed to their Lotus exquisite collections, for the jump, for the leap, for the exponential growth.

Today, I have personally spoken to many new Lotus clients who courageously begin with the Lotus exquisite jadeite directly. And I have witnessed their great progress. I know of one gentleman who started with his Lotus exquisite jadeite in April 2016, his business prospered, his team expanded, and by now – just less than 10 months with the Lotus – he has acquired his Lotus 108 agarwood beads and done up the Lotus crystal mountains for his house, all ready for another great leap in 2017. I know of another Lotus client who got for himself a Lotus exquisite jadeite at about 150k SGD, within that year, he sold one of his businesses at a profit of 4.2million SGD…
 

The heavens showed Master Yun the way. And he listened to it. We should too. It is our time to move from good to GREAT.
