Speech by His Royal Highness Prince Sisowath Tesso of Cambodia on the occasion of the Exhibition "Wind & Water" by Emeritus Master Yun Long Zi (Marienhof Amersfoort, 3 May 2019)

Emeritus Master Yun Long Zi, Distinguished Guests, Ladies & Gentlemen,
王子们，云龙子大师。尊敬的来宾。淑女们与绅士们。

 

It’s a great honour and an immense pleasure for me, to be present at the Inauguration of the Exhibition of Emeritus Master Yun Long Zi new collection of Feng Shui paintings entitled “Wind & Water”, held in this beautiful and historical Marienhof Hall at Amersfoort in the Kingdom of Netherlands.
能来到云龙子大师在荷兰画展的开幕典礼，的确是我的荣幸与及无上的喜悦。

 

 

In October 2018, Master Yun Long Zi invited me to attend his Feng Shui paintings exhibition in Singapore, at the prestigious Chijmes Hall. I said at the time, that it was my sincere wish, to see one day, his Feng Shui paintings exposed abroad, in a foreign country.
2018年的十月，云龙子大师遨请了我到新加坡赞美堂，参观了他的画展。
我当时说，能够见到他的画作漂洋过海到国外展现，是我对他最殷切的期望。

 

This is why today, is a very special moment for me, as I can finally come to Europe, and visit your beautiful country, to see that there are so many people attending this new artistic event here, at this ancient and prestigious former monastery of Marienhof.
所以，今天到欧洲，拜访了美丽的贵国，见到海潮似的来宾参加今天的画展开幕典礼，是于我一个特殊的时刻。

 

 

I am very excited by this new Exhibition of Master Yun, and I am certain that, like his preceding exhibitions in Bangkok and Singapore, it will achieve a great success here in the Netherlands.
我对这次的画展感到异常兴奋。我深信，正如他先前在曼谷及新加坡的画展一样，这次在荷兰的展出也会空前成功。

 

 

 

Master Yun is a very good friend of the Royal Family of Cambodia, as he actively supports the Royal Ballet of Cambodia which is under the direction of H.R.H Princess Norodom Buppha Devi, sister of His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni.
云龙子大师是柬普寨王室的好朋友。他积极地支持国王陛下的大姐，布拜德威公主所领导的宫廷巴蕾。

 

 

 

His Majesty has in his private collection, one of Master Yun’s Feng Shui paintings.
国王陛下也亲自收藏了云龙子大师的作品。

 

We are also very proud and honoured to wear the famous Jade rings designed for us by Master Yun, and also to own in our private collections some of his finest paintings.
我们其它王室成员也十分自豪荣幸地佩戴着云龙子亲自设计的戒指。我们也各自收藏了他的画作。

 

Dear friends of Master Yun and guests, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Master Yun, for inviting me to the Opening of his Exhibition in the Netherlands. I highly appreciate the kindness and nobility of heart, of Master Yun Long Zi.
作为云龙子大师亲爱的朋友及贵宾，我很感激他邀请了我到他荷兰画展的开幕典礼。我更欣赏他内心的仁慈与尊贵。

 

 

I believe Master Yun’s Feng Shui Wind and Water Exhibition will enjoy a great success here in the Netherlands, and open the ancient world of Feng Shui to many people in this beautiful country.
我相信云大师的风水画展会在荷兰旗开得胜，并向这美丽国家的子民打开风水的文化世界。

 

Your Royal Highnesses, Distinguished Guests, Ladies & Gentlemen,
I am delighted to have with me, on this special occasion, some classical dancers who will perform for you some Cambodian dances to bless the event.
王子殿下们，尊敬的贵宾们，淑女们与绅士们。我也为你们带来了柬普寨的古典舞蹈以祝福这个开幕。

 

As you probably know, the Royal Ballet of Cambodia was proclaimed by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2003.
或许你们也知道，柬埔寨的王家巴蕾在2003年成为世界非物质文化遗产。

 

 

On this auspicious occasion, I have brought with me some of our principal Ballerinas to perform for you today, the Apsara Dance & the Peacock Dance, which is the specific and symbolic bird most often represented on Master Yun’s paintings.
在这个吉祥如意的日子，我为你们带来了巴蕾舞者，为你们表演仙女舞与孔雀舞。因为孔雀是云龙子大师的画里头最常出现，最有象征性的神鸟。
