一日一龙
九三。惕龙
Third Dragon. The Alert Dragon.
The Classic Reads:
The Emperor
is bright and glorious throughout the day. But in the night, he will be
alert and reflect deeply. Even with peril, there will be no danger.
爻曰：君子终日乾乾。夕惕若。厲，无咎。我的现代诠释：
My modern interpretations:
The leader must be cheerful and glorious In the day time. At night, his heart contemplates. He must be alert towards the shift and changes of human hearts. So there will be no danger even if there are perils.

君子在白天的时候，都是光明辉煌的样子。到了晚上，就在心中反复地惦量，特别是对人心的变易更动。就算是有什么危机，也不会危险。
The
Chinese character is made of two parts, the heart and the chameleon
(symbolizing changes) . It means the leader must be aware of the change
of hearts and shift of moods.
我先书了个竖心（忄）。竖心旁边画了个小小的变色龙（易的本义）。意思是心中要警惕人心的变动更易。
And I wrote a long dragon surrounding and clinging to the heart.
接着我画了条大龙，龙身环线竖心。
To be the dragon of men, one must win the hearts of people.
要为人君，得赢得人心啊！
