Celebrationism: Light in Darkness

I came across a piece of Persian carpet one day. It was a very colourful piece, with colourful stars orbiting around in a cyclical movement. The name of the carpet was Planet.

The carpet drew my attention to the celestial movements of the stars, planets and satellites.

All of a sudden, an inspiration hit me like lightning, linking the celestial world to the nature of prosperity.

True prosperity should not be like soapy bubbles—bursting at any tendency.

True prosperity should be like the planets revolving around the sun, and the satellites revolving around the planets.

If you think that true prosperity is purely about attraction, look at the planets: they attract while being attracted. They rotate while revolving.

If you think that the Sun is the centre of the Universe, think again. It is but just a star among the billions in the Milky Way Galaxy, which in turn is also just one among the billions of galaxies in our Universe.

In our own world of being, we might think that we are the centre. Yes, we can attract. But we also have to recognize that we can do that because there are other centres that attract too and we revolve around them just as much as they revolve around or with us.

This is the way of the Yin and the Yang in short. Mutual attraction and inter-dependencies happening at the same time.

Speaking about the Yin and the Yang, they are about celebration and dreams.

Celebration is akin to the day, while dreams are akin to the night. Day and night, while not visible together, are inseparable from each other. Celebration fuels our dreams and our dreams give reasons to our celebrations.

Thus, we ought not to have art that is only visible in the light but equally illuminates its form in the darkness.

Dreaming isn’t just exclusive to darkness, and we ought to be able to celebrate even in our darkest moments.

We ought not to just celebrate in the light, but sought to be able to whisper and proclaim our dreams in the light.
