We announced earlier through hard mailers to our blessed clients that we are doing away with the "member's birthday discount" by 1 October 2015, and in its place, a new, more exciting and precious rewards initiative.

Yes, we have started with the new rewards program. And I finally caught up with my schedule and have the time to share the details.

Blessed clients of the Lotus, I give you: the Lotus Seeds.

Wait -- what are these small, adorable-looking "creatures"?

These, ladies and gentlemen, are jadeite Pixiu-s (貔貅). Not those fake jadeite you see elsewhere in the market, but real, solid jadeite, carved into Pixiu-s. We call them, the Lotus Seeds.

And I am giving them to you when you purchase your next Lotus collection.

Yes, this is for real. And many blessed clients have been collecting the Lotus Seeds since the beginning of October. But what is the difference between the Lotus Seeds -- the jadeite Pixiu-s -- and the Lotus jadeite collections that you are wearing for great prosperity?

Reusing the Five Paths of Wealth Incense boxes to store the Lotus Seeds

The Lotus jadeite collections -- the beautiful Rings and pendants for your real, solid prosperity -- have gone through at least 7 rounds of testing, for inner cracks, for appropriate levels of polishing wax, for well-defining color...etc (we will be talking about this in length, hopefully really soon). The Lotus Seeds are jadeite that didn't make it through the rounds. They are real "A" grade jadeite nonetheless, but they don't make the mark to be Lotus jadeite.

Though not qualified to prosper you as the Lotus jadeite, we have made them into Lotus Seeds. And here's how it works:

1. For every 100SGD you commit to your next purchase at the Lotus (excluding GST and setting), you will be receiving 1 Lotus Seed.

That means when you get a Lotus Laughing Buddha with Ingots pendant -- 8,669SGD, for yourself or your loved ones, you will be collecting 86 Lotus Seeds!

Or, when you get yourself the Double Dragon jadeite ring -- the cabochon and earth ring come up to 33,868SGD, you will be collecting 338 Lotus Seeds!

OR, when you reward yourself with the Lotus exquisite jadeite Dragon Returns to the Sea -- at a beautiful 966,868SGD, how many Lotus Seeds would you be collecting? A whopping 9,668 Lotus Seeds!!

2. What do you do with the Lotus Seeds?

Every single Lotus Seed is equivalent to 3SGD worth when you use it to acquire your next Lotus collection.

Take it as credit, points, or miles. But not just those that appear on paper. Afterall, this is Lotus on Water right? Even "points" deserve to be more high class -- you are getting real jadeite for points.
