RECAP (3): Your Ever-So Important Lotus Agarwood

THANK YOU -- a very HUAT session of feeling and tasting agarwood.

So here's what we know by now:

1. You have seen the raw agarwood trees -- that's where your agarwood collections come from.

2. You have seen the HUGE agarwood tree, but that's not agarwood. Only a very, very, very small part might become agarwood. And most of them are either too thin or brittle or simple lack the mass to be made into a pendant or beads.

3. Regardless of how powerful the raw material might be, it is just raw power. Without taming -- 10-20 years of fermentation and maturing, Master Yun's communication with the raw agarwood, carving it into its purpose, and Master Yun's final blessing -- it is of no fengshui use without taming.

4. Agarwood is precious. Earth agarwood, more precious. Sinking agarwood, amazingly precious. But none more precious and powerful than Qinan 奇楠. And despite having the huge agarwood trees, it is only every 2-3 years that we might have a chance to come along raw Qinan. And if fortunate enough, to offer 3-6 pieces of Lotus Qinan pendants. Nothing more.

Agarwood is formed when the agarwood tree (aquilaria species) heals itself from wounds with its resin. The Lotus only goes for the naturally-formed ones, which means the wounds can be from an elephant walking by, lightning strike, insects...the possibilities are endless, the type of viruses and bacteria the agarwood trees are exposed to are endless, and hence the impossible permutations of layers of powers naturally-formed agarwood has.

Qinan, this highest order of agarwood, is formed when the agarwood tree is attacked by extremely lethal virus, comparable to cancer or worse. The healed scab exudes a distinctive and strong scent, bitter and cooling if tasted.

When we are wearing agarwood, we want to be able to able to absorb negative energies and convert them into opportunities. The stronger the virus that the agarwood is born from, the strong is that particular agarwood able to perform this "absorb-convert" function for you.

Many blessed clients have had the good fortune to own a piece (and more) of Lotus agarwood. If you are looking for something powerful, something unique, something top-of-the-order, then, go for Qinan.

蝙蝠及灵芝

蝙蝠和灵芝是中国历史上有名的图腾，它们的结合所产生的是一个称为“福至心灵”的共同体，能量强大且神秘。这个听起来是不是很神奇？

“福至心灵”究竟代表什么呢？我会在后面分享我的看法。若你现在问好朋友——谷歌 Google，你肯定搜索不到与“福至心灵”有关的结果。哈哈。那就让我们分开搜索“蝙蝠”和“灵芝”。

蝙蝠在风水中寓意“富”和“福”，因为两个字都是“蝠”的谐音。这个有趣吧？

那灵芝呢？灵芝寓意健康长寿乃至长生不老。值得一提的是，灵芝也是心想事成的象征。足见灵芝的能量之大。

了解了蝙蝠和灵芝的含义，我们便可以把它们结合在一起，这也是我对“福至心灵”的解读：

两个字——永福。

佩戴这枚“福至心灵”可以开启我们潜在的能力，启动我们吉祥富贵的源头。我们的心灵从而得到强化也变得更丰富多彩，为我们的人生带来更多美丽的风景。

The motifs of the Bats and LingZhi

They are some of the famous motifs in ancient Chinese history. When both come together, a powerful and mysterious fusion is achieved. This is called 福至心灵 or blessing to the soul (sounds fascinating uh!...)

But what exactly does this mean? I will leave my opinions to later part. If you ask your best friend, Google; nothing shows up. Haha...maybe let's do little research about Bat and LingZhi individually.

This is what the Bat means in Fengshui. A picture of a Bat can be a visual pun for "good fortune" (prosperity) or happiness (福) because both characters are pronounced "fu". Ok, that's pretty interesting.

And as for LingZhi this is what means: Longevity and great health bordering to the extent of immortality. 

It is also good to note that the LingZhi is the most important symbol for granting wishes. Such is the power of LingZhi. 

Since we all know what the motifs of Bats and LingZhi mean now. Let's put them together! This is my interpretation of them coming together.

Two words: Eternal blessings

I feel wearing this 福至心灵 agarwood pendant will help us to unlock the potential within us, the source of our blessings. Our souls are strengthened and enriched, which would inspire many beautiful manifestations in our lives.
Put it this way. Like our organs, while we enjoy the sensations that life gives us, we should also remember to pay attention to what allows us to enjoy our prosperity, the source of life.

But this 福至心灵 extends beyond just our organs and good health.

回顾二：挑选你的御用白端

第二场讲座我们说了很多，现在就让我们聚焦当天的主角——你的御用白端。

御用白端有一白遮三丑的效果，每一块御用白端都可以为你招来贵人、权力和胜利。因此在御用白端的挑选上绝不能马虎，必须注意以下几点：

除了乌金线，御用白端上还有能量更强的朱砂线。

这块御用白端上的乌金线和朱砂线数量丰富，交错纵横。要开采一块白端已经相当不容易，要得到一块蕴含如此丰富珍贵矿物的白端，更是超出地质学可以理解的范围了。这可谓是天地至宝。

这些朱砂线横跨整个白端，还延伸至后面，形成一个圆圈，寓意你的财运源源不绝。我们称之为“玉带环腰”，一种权力和地位的象征。

这就是无与伦比。
