NO, We Are Not Selling Red Wines -- WE ARE GIVING THEM TO YOU

I am sure you know by now, the NEW premium French red wines that we are thanking our beloved clients who refer friends and loved ones to us.

Always be investing on our BEST friends, our selfless referring clients. Same rule applies as per Grand Siècle -- for every S$10,000 purchased by your referral, we thank you with TWO 2 bottles of red wine.

A bit more details on the red wines.

These red wines are recommended to Master Yun by Mr Britt Ng. A long-time friend of Master Yun, Britt is Asia's Best Sommelier in French Wines 2016 and 2019, and also Malaysia's Best Sommelier 2014 and 2019, former sommelier at Bread Street Kitchen Singapore by Gordon Ramsay...and the list of accolades run on.

Currently, Britt is the Head Sommelier of Shangri-La Hotel Singapore.

Now you know how awesome these red wines are 😃

And there's more. I had the great privilege of asking Britt for his "tasting notes" (taster's written testimony about the aroma, taste identification, acidity, structure, texture, and balance of a wine).

Here's what he says:
2015 LES FIEFS DE LAGRANGE SAINT JULIEN

Origin:
This wine is from the village of Saint-Julien in the Bordeaux wine region in France

Grapes:
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Petit Verdot

Tasting Notes:
This is the second wine of the prestigious Chateau Lagrange. The 2015 vintage is bold and robust, bursting with freshness. You will get aromas of black cherries, ripe strawberries and violet flowers.

Food Pairing:
Beef Wellington, Roasted Venison, Aged Comté Cheese

2014 LES FIEFS DE LAGRANGE SAINT JULIEN

Origin:
This wine is from the village of Saint-Julien in the Bordeaux wine region in France

Grapes:
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Petit Verdot

Tasting Notes:
This is the second wine of the prestigious Chateau Lagrange. This medium to full body wine has round tannins, complimented with notes of blackberries, black plums and earthy mushrooms.

Food Pairing:
Steak frites, Roast Lamb, Porcini Mushroom Risotto

2013 CROIX CANON SAINT-ÉMILION GRAND CRU

Origin:
This wine is from the village of Saint-Émilion in the Bordeaux wine region in France

Grapes:
Merlot & Cabernet Franc

Tasting Notes:
Croix Canon is produced by Château Canon, that is owned by the same owner of the luxury Chanel fashion empire!
This wine has flavours of red currants, cooked plums and Mulberry jam. The aftertaste gives you vanilla and leather due to the aging in wood barrels.

Food Pairing:
Roasted Veal Chop, Braised Short Ribs, Pan-seared Duck Breast

Well, all that tasting notes have got me thirsty...and all that food pairing...getting hungry now.

In case you are like me, wondering what the professional tasting notes are actually talking about, I have two suggestions to share with you:

1. "Grand Cru" is one of the highest classifications. Period.

2. Or, bring along your friends and loved ones. Share the Lotus prosperity and elegance with them. And let them take their first steps to join the HUATEST fengshui family. The #lotusfamily.
Then, bring back one of each and see which you love best.

And of course, the gift of these sumptuous red wines is just one of the ways we thank YOU for blooming the Lotus family.

As I often say: let's HUAT together.

HUAT ON.

-- Kan, Executive Director
