The reblessing ceremony is a spiritual centre point for the three important Lotus on Water events. During the ceremony, all clients can have their lotus collections reblessed by Master Yun.
The reblessing ceremony has gradually evolved to be always majestic and meaningful for every individual who was present at every single event.
Our 16th anniversary event was no different. For progress, we went back to our roots for inspiration. There was the meaningful 54 Heart Sutra seals ceremony at the start of the reblessing ceremony.
This time, the Glorious Shelter Celestial Star "Hua Gai" 华盖 was used in the reblessing ceremony. The Hua Gai contingent held the Hua Gai to shelter both Master Yun and the red vermillion. The red vermillion is without a doubt, of utmost importance in this ceremony.
The red vermillion was used during the Heart Sutra seal ceremony to press the entire Heart Sutra on the Xuan paper 宣纸. Just as the red vermillion gives the Heart Sutra the importance it deserves (red vermillion being so precious that only the emperor was allowed to use it), the seals also blessed the red vermillion as each seal is pounded on the red vermillion NINE times before being pressed on the Xuan paper.
Imagine the vermillion was freshly blessed by the full set of Heart Sutra seals. Master Yun's reblessing vermilion sealed with Heart Sutra seals is even more powerful now. And Master Yun immediately used this SUPERCHARGED vermillion to press the seals on the Xuan paper.
After the full set of Heart Sutra seals had been pressed on the Xuan paper, the Xuan paper with Heart Sutra seals were burnt as an offering to the Heavens.
Master Yun then used this red vermillion to re-bless all our collections after the full Heart Sutra had been pressed on the paper.
