When you first view the paintings by Master Yun, you will be mesmerised by the beautiful arrays of vibrant colours and the seeming spontaneity of the brush strokes. You see a peacock here and a peacock there juxtaposed with abstract and semi-abstract splashes of colours and Chinese characters and you’ll try to make out where the heads and tails are, all full of symbolisms. When the lightings change, you will be enthralled by what you see.
But look beyond all these
symbolisms for therein lies the artist’s philosophy about life. If you see
that, you will come away from the exhibition enriched from the experience.

这一切意象的背后涵盖着画家的人生哲学。若你看见,便不虚此行。
